Frequently Asked Questions About Pet Photography

I primarily photograph dogs, but I am happy to work with any type of pet, including cats, birds, rabbits, reptiles, and more!

Most sessions last between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the number of pets, behavior and energy levels.

I have many tips and tricks to help with nervous doggies, I’ve never had a session yet I wasn’t able to cute photos. IF you believe your pup may not cooperate, please only book the session with the deposit cost only, just incase.

The cat clause:

If you are planning to bring a cat into the studio, please allow for extra time to get shots, and be prepared to wrangle your cat, constantly. Cats are, well, cats… I simply hope they turn around and allow me to take a few photos of them, a split second before plotting their escape.

You can book a session by clicking on the “book a session” button located in many places on my website. A deposit is required to secure your spot.
Bring your pet’s favorite toys, treats, and any accessories (like a cute bandana or collar) to help keep them engaged and comfortable. However, our studio is full of bandanas miscellaneous props, and tons and tons of treats, even for the picky eaters.
Absolutely! I have experience working with all types of pets and will take the time to ensure they feel comfortable. Also, I have otherworldly patience for your fur babies.
That’s entirely up to you! Some owners love to be included, while others prefer the focus to be solely on their pet. If you do, I don’t charge anything extra for humans.

Not to worry! I have years of experience and so many tricks to grab their attention.

During set and background changes we encourage owners to take their dog outside, run around and do their business. (Whether permitted)
You will receive a preview the same day as your session, sent to your email so you can view your proofing page in the comfort of your own home. Final edited photos are typically delivered within 3-4 days after photos have been selected. (Excluding weekend edits)
You will receive high-resolution digital files as a download link.
Yes! You are welcome to share your photos, and I’d love it if you tagged me when you do.
Here at Denver pet pics, I do not give out unedited photos. Digital images are priced affordably, to ensure each party is happy.
